The lodge is situated at the top of the main camping field. It houses the reception area, multi-function room, kitchen, toilet & shower facility, and dormitories.
With a view overlooking the main camping field, the multi-function room is ideal for holding leader’s meetings, organizing events and can form the central base for running your camp. The kitchen provides groups with ample cooking space. We do have a limited amount of crockery and cutlery but request that groups provide their own source of cooking and washing up equipment.
Within the lodge we have three dormitories that provide a comfortable night’s sleep after a busy day. The Caerphilly dormitory is able to sleep six people whilst the Chepstow dormitory sleeps eight. The Raglan dormitory can sleep two people and is designed for leader’s accommodation.
Groups will need to provide their own pillows and sleeping equipment. The lodge and dormitories are centrally heated and also include a small toilet/shower facility.
